We camp regularly in the summer months and we never have electricity available which is why having a rechargeable flashlight that lasts the entire trip without needing a charge is really clutch. I found that this flashlight fits that description. What I also found was that the magnets make it very handy in my garage as well! This flashlight is approximately as bright as a standard incandescent/halogen 2 C-cell flashlight. In addition to the normal beam, the side has a frosted light which is a great source of diffused light for reading or, in my case, as general illumination when getting ready for bed in the tent. That side light is also pretty clever. The white light has two brightness levels, and then it also can give you a steady amber light which I suppose is intended not to attract bugs. Then if you click the button again it gives you a flashing red light. My only wish would be for the red light to not blink, but rather to stay steady. That would have made this ideal for use when stargazing. Oh well, maybe next year's model will do that. Another plus is the fact that unlike some rechargeable flashlights you may find, the USB-C charger integrated in this one is capable of handling a USB-C rapid-charger - which is pretty much the only type of USB-C chargers we keep at the house. I'm not saying this flashlight rapid-charges, but unlike some older USB-C rechargeable flashlights we have, I don't have to use a lower-wattage USB-A charging brick with a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge this one up. It works just great with the same USB-C rapid-chargers we use for our phones. A+

What Misses the Mark

• Flawed Charging Design: To charge the unit, you have to completely remove the on/off switch cover. Since this piece isn't tethered, it’s far too easy to lose in the dirt or grass.
The Verdict
Overall, the CAMPLIGHTPRO is a solid, multi-functional tool for campers who value durability and extra features like the magnetic base and powerbank. While the beam width and the removable charging cap are slight inconveniences, it remains a very capable companion for the campsite.
I am blown away by the multi-uses of this flashlight.
First off, I really love the different settings of this flashlight. There are 3 different white light settings as well as a soft bluish mood lighting setting and a red and blue emergency setting. The light is bright and vivid and can be seen from a distance if need be.
My favorite thing about this product is the safety items. Not only is it an amazing flashlight with different settings but is also strong enough to break a window, is waterproof and can float if you take it out on the water, and is also a portable charger for your electronic devices. The portable charger aspect was a pleasant suprise since I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere on the product description.
It’s small enough to put into the glove box or even carry around in your purse. The magnet is strong as well so it’s easy to stick onto metal surfaces. I can’t speak to the battery life on this thing yet, but we haven’t had to charge it yet and have used it a few times since getting it. I also like that it is brightly colored so it’s easy to spot in case you misplace it. Also i like that it’s rechargeable so no worries on having to buy batteries for it. The quality of this thing is amazing and it feels sturdy.
The price may feel steep for a flashlight but I promise it’s worth every penny. This thing has so many different uses and may even save your life with the added safety features.
I can’t think of a single downside to this flashlight. I love it so much and my boyfriend is already hounding me to get him one for his truck. I recommend this for anyone regardless of lifestyle, this thing can come in handy for everyone!
This flashlight is very well packaged and comes with a charging cable for itself, lanyard cord to attach to the end of it, and the instruction manual. I am astonished by how bright the light is. My eyes actually have spots from testing out all of the lighting features. It has an all around light as well as a more traditional light. It stays charged for up to 30 hours and it can charge other devices for up to 4 hours and is waterproof and magnetic. This little flashlight is great! It is pretty heavy as well. The handle has a soft silicone covering, which is very comfortable to hold. I had an interest in this because Spring is almost here and the weather can turn from sun to severe storms very quickly. I feel much more confident in being able to safely move around the house if the power goes out. This flashlight is an essential addition to an emergency/safety bag.
We keep this charged up in the case of a power outage and use it for projects too. The light has a strong magnet hanger so it can be kept handy hanging on a metal cabinet. Several settings and easy to use.
